Disposal of Best Buy Europe's Belgian retail business

Best Buy Europe, a joint venture between Carphone Warehouse Group plc and Best Buy Co., Inc., has reached agreement to sell its retail business in Belgium to Belgacom S.A., for a provisional cash consideration of €22 million. Best Buy Europe's Belgian insurance customer base will not form part of the transaction.

The sale is conditional on clearance from the Belgian Competition Authority.
