Sale of FindlaterGrants

Dublin, London, 15 September, 2008: C&C Group plc ('C&C' or the 'Group'), a manufacturer, marketer and distributor of branded beverages in Ireland and the U.K., today announced that it has sold FindlaterGrants, part of the Group's distribution division, to DCC plc ("DCC") for a consideration of approximately €9.6 million.
FindlaterGrants is one of Ireland's leading wine distributors. Proceeds of the sale will be used for general corporate purposes.
