Elementis PLC03 September 2007 3 September 2007 Elementis announces completion of sale of its Global Pigments Business Elementis plc is pleased to announce that the sale of its Global Pigmentsbusiness was completed on 31 August 2007. The sale, announced on 11 May 2007,was subject to regulatory approvals including a filing under theHart-Scott-Rodino Act in the United States. Clearance to complete was receivedduring August. The proceeds from the sale (on a cash and debt free basis) were US$140 million(£70 million) and will initially be used to pay down debt.
