DISPOSAL OF THE PROPERTY FUND MANAGEMENT AND PROPERTY ADMINISTRATION BUSINESSESOF INVESTEC PROPERTY GROUP LIMITED It was announced on 30 May 2007 that Investec Property Group Limited ("IPG") hadagreed to dispose of its property fund management business and its propertyadministration business as a going concern to Growthpoint Properties Limited("Growthpoint") subject to, inter alia, the granting of all regulatory approvalsas may be required from various authorities including the CompetitionAuthorities. The Competition Tribunal has now approved the above transaction subject to theremoval of certain restraint terms and extension provisions in terms of whichGrowthpoint was restricted from entering into property development transactionsand IPG from establishing a competing property administration and property assetmanagement business.
