Atkins (WS) PLC29 November 2005 NEWS RELEASE 1312RS WS Atkins plc sells 25% stake in South Manchester Healthcare Atkins announces the disposal of its 25% shareholding in South ManchesterHealthcare (Holdings) Limited to Secondary Market Infrastructure Fund (SMIF) for£7.75 million. The disposal was completed on 23 November 2005 and will result ina profit of £5.7m. Keith Clarke, Chief Executive of Atkins, commented: "I am delighted that thesale of our 25% stake in South Manchester Healthcare has been successfullycompleted.
