Disclosure of interests in shares

Millennium & Copthorne Hotels plc ("the Company") has received notification on 31 January 2013 that with effect from 30 January 2013, Aberdeen Asset Managers Limited has a material indirect interest in 16,352,673 ordinary shares of 30p each in the Company, being approximately 5.04% of the issued share capital.

Of this indirect interest, 9,802,172 ordinary shares of 30p each, being approximately 3.02%, are held through Aberdeen Global - Asian Smaller Companies Fund which by themselves are notifiable.
