Millennium & Copthorne Hotels plc ("the Company") received notification on 3 June 2008 that with effect from 16 May 2008, City Developments Limited ("CDL") has a material indirect interest in 161,708,536 ordinary shares of 30p each in the Company, being approximately 53.53% of the issued share capital.
