Premier Foods plc25 July 2006 Premier Foods plc ("the Company") Disclosure of Interest in Share Capital On 25th July 2006 the Company received notification by Citibank, N.A. LondonBranch, Citigroup Centre, Canada Square, Canary Wharf, London E14 5LB that, asat, 25th July 2006, Standard Life Investments disposed 1,326,157 shares onbehalf of Standard Life Group, this decreased the total held as a notifiableinterest (including material and non-material interests) to 26,200,296 ordinary1p shares in the Company representing 10.571% of the issued share capital.
