No new event or change has occurred in the Company's status or activities, however, the Company has been advised that this Announcement is required in order to comply with a recent change in the Transparency Directive regarding disclosure of the Company's Home Member State as detailed below.

For the purposes of the Transparency Directive (Directive 2004/109/EC), as amended by the Transparency Directive Amending Directive (Directive 2013/50/EU) and DTR 6.4.2 of the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Rules and Transparency Rules, the Home Member State of JPMorgan Income & Growth Investment Trust plc is the United Kingdom.
