Bodycote announces that on 22 December 2009, in accordance with the rules of the Bodycote Incentive Plan ("BIP"), the Company made contingent share awards of ordinary shares in the Company ("Ordinary Shares").
The awards comprise a maximum conditional award of Ordinary Shares subject to the rules of the BIP and the applicable performance target. Awards were made as follows:

Jan Elwart PDMR 328,312Guy Prunel PDMR 252,096Dan McCurdy PDMR 243,035Tracy Glende PDMR 245,007
The awards will not be aggregated with existing shareholdings of the above-mentioned PDMRs unless and until the awards vest which at the earliest will be February 2012.
