Liontrust Asset Management PLC30 September 2005Notification of directors' interests: Companies Act 1985 s.329.The Trustee of the Liontrust Asset Management Employee Trust has notified theCompany that it acquired in the market a total of 127,045 ordinary shares inthe Company on 29 September 2005 at a price of 270p per share. Following thistransaction, the Trust held a total of 3,377,511 ordinary shares in the Companyin which the following directors had an interest as potential beneficiaries: V.K. Abrol, N. R. Legge, J. D. Lang and W. T. Pattisson.
