ARM Holdings plc ("the Company") announces that on 11 September 2009 Lucio Lanza, who is an independent non-executive director of the Company, exercised options over shares in the Company as follows:

89,912 at 57 pence per share

7,498 at 22 pence per share

26,236 at 44 pence per share

177,615 at 66 pence per share

The resulting 301,261 shares were sold on the same date at a price of 137.7188 pence per share. His shareholding continues to be 1,277,291 shares.
