Directors' Share Dealings

Trapoil (AIM: TRAP), the independent oil and gas exploration and appraisal company focused on the UK Continental Shelf region of the North Sea, announces that it was today notified that Mark Groves Gidney, a director of Trapoil, has, on today's date, transferred 2,804,902 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") to Sheila Jones, the wife of Elwyn Jones, a director of Trapoil, such shares having been formerly held on trust on behalf of Sheila Jones by Mark Groves Gidney, as disclosed in the Company's AIM admission document dated 14 March 2011 (the "Admission Document") (the "Transfer").

Following the Transfer, Mark Groves Gidney remains interested in 4,973,347 Ordinary Shares representing approximately 2.73 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital. Elwyn Jones remains interested in 2,804,902 Ordinary Shares representing approximately 1.54 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital which are now registered and held in the name of Sheila Jones.

Sheila Jones has entered into a lock-in and orderly market deed on identical terms to those entered into by the Directors and the Company's senior management, as set out in paragraph 14.7 of Part 6 of the Admission Document.
