Polo Resources Limited (AIM and TSX: POL) was notified on 9 July 2010 that Regent Mercantile Holdings Limited, a company which is wholly owned by the trustee of a trust under which Stephen R. Dattels, Executive Chairman of the Company is a beneficiary, purchased on the same day 30,000,000 Ordinary Shares of the Company at a price of 5.125 pence per share.

Following the purchase, Mr. Dattels is interested in a total of 141,676,007 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 6.12% per cent of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
