X5 Retail Group N.V.21 April 2008 ANDREI ROGACHEV RESIGNS AS MEMBER OF X5 SUPERVISORY BOARD Amsterdam, 21 April 2008 - X5 Retail Group N.V., Russia's largest food retailerin terms of sales (LSE ticker: "FIVE"), announced today Mr. Andrei Rogachev'sresignation as a member of its Supervisory Board. Mr. Rogachev resigned from the Supervisory Board of X5 Retail Group N.V. on 21April 2007 in order to concentrate on his other business activities. Mr. Rogachev was a founder of Pyaterochka and following Pyaterochka's mergerwith Perekrestok (as X5 Retail Group N.V. was known at the time) in May 2006,Mr. Rogachev remained a member of the Supervisory Board of X5 Retail Group N.V.,where he continued to contribute to the overall strategy and development of X5Retail Group N.V.
