Cambridge, UK: Abcam plc (AIM: ABC), a global leader in the supply of protein research tools, announces that on 4 November 2014 the Remuneration Committee granted the following share awards in the form of Nil Cost Options or Conditional Shares (the "Award") to the Directors of the Company under the Abcam plc Long-Term Incentive Plan (the "LTIP"):

* The award made to Alan Hirzel is in the form of conditional shares which will be delivered following vesting.
