Millennium & Copthorne Hotels plc ("the Company") has been notified that on 16 May 2008, Christopher Sneath, a director of the Company, purchased 262 shares in the Company at a price of 397.45 pence per share. 

Following this transaction, Mr Sneath's beneficial interest in the Company's shares is 10,262 representing 0.003% of the Company's issued Ordinary Share capital.
