Europa Oil & Gas (Holdings) plc, the AIM listed oil and gas exploration, development and production company focused on Europe, announces that Christian William Ahlefeldt-Laurvig, Non-Executive Director of the Company has purchased 9,500,000 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 4 pence per Ordinary Share (the “Purchase”).
Following the Purchase, Mr Ahlefeldt is beneficially interested in 35,002,442 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 14.29% of the Company’s issued share capital.

Europa Oil & Gas (Holdings) plc has a diversified portfolio of multi-stage hydrocarbon assets that includes production, exploration and development interests, in countries that are politically stable, have transparent licensing processes, and offer attractive terms. In 2015 Europa produced 141 boepd.
