Kea Petroleum plc (AIM: KEA), the oil and gas company focused on New Zealand, announces that it was informed on 3 May 2013 that Thornaby Limited sold 8,600,000 on 3 May 2013, to Transact Nominees Limited, acting in its capacity as a trustee of the Personal Pension Fund for Ian Gowrie-Smith. The transaction was effected through the market at 7p per share.
Thornaby Limited now holds 60,700,000 shares in the Company, representing 9.28 per cent. of the total issued share capital.
Transact Nominees Limited now owns 9,055,676 shares in the Company, representing 1.38 per cent. of the total issued share capital.
The number of shares in which Mr Gowrie-Smith is beneficially interested remains at 69,300,000, representing 10.59 per cent. of the issued share capital.
