Exercise of Share Options & Total Voting Rights

Augean was informed yesterday that on 3 December 2014 Jim Meredith, Chairman, purchased 175,000 ordinary shares of 10p each ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 56 pence per Ordinary Share.

Accordingly, Mr Meredith has a beneficial interest in 500,000 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.49% of the total issued share capital and total voting rights of the Company following the issue of the new Ordinary Shares as described below.

Augean also announces that it has issued 354,430 new Ordinary Shares following the exercise of share options by a former director; of which 278,481 were under the Group's Unapproved Share Option Scheme and 75,949 were under the Group's Approved Share Option Scheme.

Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the 354,430 Ordinary Shares issued pursuant to the option exercise to be admitted to trading on AIM ("Admission"). It is expected that Admission will occur at 8.00 a.m. on 17 December 2014. The Ordinary Shares shall rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary Shares.

Following Admission, the Company's enlarged issued share capital and total number of voting rights will be 101,130,229 Ordinary Shares. There are no shares held in treasury.

This figure of 101,130,229 Ordinary Shares may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change in their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
