Director's dealing
The Board of West African Minerals was informed on 28 February 2013 that Plinian Guernsey Limited ("Plinian") had on the same date transferred for no consideration 312,378 Ordinary Shares in the Company to Allgate Properties S.A. ("Allgate") pursuant to finder's fee arrangements previously agreed between Plinian and Allgate in relation to the Company's Cameroon properties prior to the admission of the Company to AIM. Allgate has agreed to enter into a deed of adherence to the orderly market agreement entered into by Plinian at admission, such that until 8 January 2014, Allgate may only sell the ordinary shares with the prior approval of the Company's nominated adviser and broker. As a consequence of the transfer, Plinian is now interested in 30,925,428 Ordinary Shares representing approximately 10.7 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital. Brad Mills, a director of the Company, is the controlling shareholder and director of Plinian.

West African Minerals Corporation (AIM: WAFM) is an iron ore mining and exploration group focused on West Africa with interests in iron ore exploration permits in Cameroon and Sierra Leone. Through its 100 per cent owned subsidiary Compagnie Minière du Cameroun SA, WAFM owns six exploration permits in Cameroon covering a total area of approximately 6,000 square kilometres and spanning the coast to the eastern deposits.
