7 January 2015 UBM plc : Directors' Announcement under LR 9.6.11 UBM plc ("UBM" or the "Company") announces that its Chairman, Dame HelenAlexander, is recovering from a recent operation and is expected to resume herrole during March 2015. Effective immediately, Alan Gillespie, SeniorIndependent Director, will stand in for Dame Helen as Acting Non-executiveChairman, during her temporary absence. The Company also announces that its Chief Executive, Tim Cobbold, will behaving an operation shortly and he is expected to resume his role within aperiod of up to two months. During Tim Cobbold's temporary absence, RobertGray, Chief Financial Officer, will take on the additional role of Acting ChiefExecutive. The organisation remains focused on the Events First strategy announced on 3November 2014, the implementation of which is progressing as expected. TheAdvanstar integration programme is also continuing as planned. As previouslyannounced, Advanstar will remain a separate entity within UBM's US businessduring 2015.
