Robert Walters PLC04 September 2007 4 SEPTEMBER 2007 ROBERT WALTERS PLC ("Robert Walters" or "the Company") Acquisition of Shares by Directors Robert Walters plc announces that Robert Walters, the Company's Chief Executive,and Giles Daubeney, Chief Operating Officer, have today exercised options topurchase shares at £1.70 per share, under the terms of The Robert WaltersExecutive Share Option Scheme. A portion of the options exercised were sold today at a price of £3.30 per sharein order to fund the purchase price and to meet personal tax liabilities. As a result of the above transactions, Mr Walters' and Mr Daubeney's overallshareholdings in the Company have increased on a net basis by 282,764 and 77,117respectively, as follows: Director Number of share Number of Number of shares % of issued share options exercised shares sold now held capital now held Robert Walters 995,830 713,066 1,485,372 1.71% Giles Daubeney 271,590 194,473 1,104,139 1.27% Following the exercise of the above options, together with other optionsexercised by employees, Robert Walters plc's capital now consists of 87,038,563ordinary shares with voting rights. Robert Walters plc holds 8,597,075 ordinaryshares in Treasury. Therefore the total number of voting rights in Robert Walters plc is now78,441,488.
