("NewRiver" or the "Company")
Notification of transactions by persons discharging managerial responsibilities and persons closely associated
The Company has been notified that:
(1) on 19th June 2017, David Lockhart has exercised and sold 44,355 nil cost share options which were granted under the NewRiver Retail Limited Deferred Bonus Plan 2009;
(2) on 19th June 2017, David Lockhart has exercised 71,937 nil cost share options which were granted under the NewRiver Retail Limited Performance Share Plan 2009. In order to cover the associated tax liability, 32,486 shares were sold. David Lockhart has retained the balance of shares, giving him a total shareholding of 1,594,051 ordinary shares;
(3) on 19th June 2017, Nick Sewell has exercised and sold 23,286 nil cost share options which were granted under the NewRiver Retail Limited Deferred Bonus Plan 2009. He has a total shareholding of 149,932 ordinary shares; and
(4) on 20th June 2017, Allan Lockhart has exercised and sold 54,337 nil cost share options which were granted under the NewRiver Retail Limited Deferred Bonus Plan 2009.
