Murgitroyd Group PLC10 March 2008 10 March 2008 Murgitroyd Group PLC ("Murgitroyd" or "the Group") Director shareholding The Board of Murgitroyd announces that it received notification on 10 March 2008that Mr Ian G Murgitroyd, Executive Chairman of the Group, acquired a total of30,000 ordinary shares of 10p each in the Group (the "Share Purchase"), at aprice of 350p per ordinary share, on 10 March 2008. The Share Purchase has beenmade in accordance with the provisions of Note 11 of Rule 9.1 of the TakeoverCode. Following the acquisition, Mr Murgitroyd and his connected parties areinterested in 2,417,105 ordinary shares in the Group, representing 28.87% of thecurrent issued share capital of the Group.
