NOTIFICATION OF TRANSACTIONS OF DIRECTORS, PERSONS DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITY OR CONNECTED PERSONS
Notification made in accordance with Disclosure Rule 3.1.4R(1)(a) of the Disclosure Rules sourcebook.
On 15 May 2008, the Company granted awards of British American Tobacco p.l.c. 25p ordinary shares (the "Shares") to Executive Directors of British American Tobacco p.l.c. and other persons discharging managerial responsibilities listed below (the "Participants") under the British American Tobacco 2007 Long Term Incentive Plan at an award price of 2001p per Share. The awards are exercisable from 15 May 2011 to 14 May 2018, subject to the satisfaction of performance conditions specified on the award date. The maximum number of shares comprised in the awards granted to Participants which could vest if the performance conditions are met in full is shown opposite the name of each Participant set out below.
