The Company was notified on 7 June 2010 by Mr Rui de Sousa, the Non-Executive Chairman of the Board, that Palamos Limited, a connected person to Mr de Sousa, has sold 53,420 SOCO International plc ordinary shares of £0.20 each ("Shares"), representing 0.06% of the issued share capital of the Company, as follows:

As a result of this transaction, Mr de Sousa is interested in 796,656 Shares, representing 0.96% of the issued share capital of the Company and 1,444,201 warrants to acquire Shares ("Warrants").
This interest is held as follows: Mr de Sousa holds 63,652 Shares personally; Palamos Limited holds 733,004 Shares, 55,336 Warrants at an exercise price of £0.55 per Share, 860,187 Warrants at an exercise price of £0.60 per Share and 528,678 Warrants at an exercise price of £0.65 per Share.
