Elementis PLC03 November 2005 Elementis plc ('the Company') Notification of Grant of Options to Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities In accordance with Disclosure Rule 3.1.4R(i) of the Disclosure Rules sourcebookthe Company announces that on 2 November 2005 the following options were grantedover ordinary shares of £0.05p each in the capital of the Company pursuant tothe rules of the Elementis plc 2003 Unapproved Executive Share Option Scheme atthe exercise price of 64.50p: Mr Charles Gregory McClatchy 250,000 Mr David Wayne Dutro 250,000 Mr William John French 200,000 These options are subject to performance criteria and are exercisable at anytime between 3 and 10 years from the date of grant. As a result of this grant, Messrs McClatchy, Dutro and French have options over916,008, 960,330 and 748,728 respectively.
