Character Group PLC11 June 2007 The Character Group plc 11 June 2007 The Character Group plc (the 'Company') The Company has been informed today that The TOPS Pension Scheme (the "PensionFund") purchased 25,000 shares in the Company in the market at a price of 160pence per share on 8 June 2007. Richard King, Kiran Shah and Jon Diver (allexecutive directors of the Company) are interested in the Pension Fund by reasonof being trustees and beneficiaries of the Pension Fund.
