Directors/PDMR Shareholdings
In accordance with DTR 3.1.4, Petrofac Limited (the Company) was notified today that the Lamia Trust, a trust in which a director of the Company, Ayman Asfari and his close family are beneficiaries, distributed 10,000,000 shares in the Company on 18 December 2008 to Mr Asfari.
Mr Asfari subsequently transferred the 10,000,000 shares for no value to a member of his extended family on 18 December 2008 and consequently ceased to have any beneficial interest in them.
Following this notification, Mr Asfari currently has a beneficial interest in 53,782,114 shares, which represents 15.6% of the Company's issued share capital. Mr Asfari's beneficial interest is comprised of 41,282,114 shares in the Lamia Trust and 12,500,000 shares held by Mr Asfari.
The Company has 345,434,858 shares in issue as at today's date and all shares have equal voting rights.
