A recent audit of the interests held by the directors and PDMRs in the ordinary shares of 27.5p each ("Shares") of RSA Insurance Group plc (the "Company") has uncovered some administrative errors in previous announcements made by the Company.
On 19 September 2008, the company issued an announcement stating that Anne Jaeger had been granted 8,202 options over Shares under the Company's Sharesave plan. In September 2009, these options were cancelled and Ms Jaeger was granted 9,392 options over Shares with an exercise price of 97p per Share. The 2009 options are exercisable between 1 December 2012 and 31 May 2013.
On 6 June 2011, the Company issued an announcement in relation to 2,992 Shares purchased by David Weymouth on 3 June 2011 under the Company's Scrip Dividend Scheme. The actual number of Shares purchased by Mr Weymouth on this date was 6,070. The Shares were purchased at a price of 137.34p per share.
On 15 September 2011, the Company issued an announcement stating that Timothy Mitchell had been granted 1,705 options over Shares under the Company's Sharesave Plan. This was incorrect. Mr Mitchell was not granted any options at that time.
On 29 November 2011, the Company issued an announcement in relation to Shares purchased under the Company's Scrip Dividend Scheme for the following individuals. The Shares were purchased on 25 November 2011 under the Company's Scrip Dividend Scheme at a price of 115.54p per Share. The table below sets out the number of Shares previously announced for each individual and the correct number purchased:
