Greene King PLC06 December 2005 Directors' shareholdings Greene King plc announces that, on 5 December 2005, 2,000 new ordinary shares inthe company were transferred by Kleinwort Benson (Guernsey) Trustees Limited, astrustee of the Greene King Employee Share Trust, to satisfy options exercised byemployees under the Greene King Executive Share Option Scheme 1994. As a resultof the transfer, Rooney Anand, Justin Adams, Mark Angela, David Elliott andMichael Shallow, who are beneficiaries of the trust, no longer have an interestin the 2,000 shares in the company. This brings the number of new ordinaryshares in the Company owned by the Greene King Employee Share Trust to a totalof 614,766.
