Director/PDMR Shareholding
On 15 December 2009, Persimmon plc (the "Company") was informed that on that day Persimmon (Share Scheme Trustees) Limited purchased 36,000 ordinary shares in the Company at an average price of 414.97p. The shares were purchased for the Company's Bonus Share Scheme. Each of the executive directors of the Company is a potential participant under the Bonus Share Scheme and is therefore regarded as having a notional interest in these shares.
These shares were purchased in London and as a result of this purchase, Persimmon (Share Scheme Trustees) Limited holds 40,280 shares in the Company representing 0.01% of the issued share capital (excluding Treasury Shares).
The issued share capital of the Company on 15 December 2009 was 300,437,252 ordinary shares, excluding Treasury Shares.
