T Twigger

On 3 March 2010, 172,950 shares under option granted to Mr T Twigger (Director) in 2003, which would otherwise expire in October 2010, were exercised at an option price of 179.24p. Sufficient shares were sold at 285.56p to cover the costs of exercise and to discharge income tax and NIC liabilities, being 135,770 shares, with the remaining 37,180 shares transferred to his spouse, Mrs E J Twigger.

As a result of the above transactions, Mr Twigger's holding in the Company has increased to 932,852 ordinary shares of 5p each, 0.14% of issued share capital.

P E Green

On 3 March 2010, 83,685 shares under option granted to Mr P E Green (Director) in 2003, which would otherwise expire in October 2010, were exercised at an option price of 179.24p. Sufficient shares were sold at 285.56p to cover the costs of exercise and to discharge income tax and NIC liabilities, being 65,695 shares, with the remaining 17,990 shares transferred to his spouse, Mrs J E Green.

As a result of the above transactions, Mr Green's holding in the Company has increased to 478,825 ordinary shares of 5p each, 0.07% of issued share capital.

S G Young

On 3 March 2010, 246,564 shares under option granted to Mr S G Young (Director) in 2004, which would otherwise expire in March 2011, were exercised at an option price of 174.40p. Sufficient shares were sold at 285.56p to cover the costs of exercise and to discharge income tax and NIC liabilities, being 191,078 shares, with the remaining 55,486 shares transferred to his spouse, Mrs C Young.

As a result of the above transactions, Mr Young's holding in the Company has increased to 278,800 ordinary shares of 5p each, 0.04% of issued share capital.
