Director's dealings in the Company's ordinary shares of 5p
The Company announces that on 2 December 2009 Jeremy Maiden exercised his vested award of 40,563 shares (the "First Award") granted under the Share Award Agreement on 2 December 2008.
On 2 December 2009 Mr Maiden sold 16,640 shares at a price of 1.655 pence per share and retained 23,922 shares. The shares were sold to meet the tax liability arising on the exercise of the First Award.
Mr Maiden's total shareholding has increased from 16,000 to 39,922 (0.026% of the total voting rights in the Company).
National Express Group PLC was informed by Mr Maiden of the above transaction on 2 December 2009.
