AMEC PLC24 April 2008 AMEC plc 24 April 2008 NOTIFICATION OF TRANSACTIONS OF DIRECTORS, PERSONS DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITY OR CONNECTED PERSONS AMEC plc ("the Company") announces that it has been notified by Mr S Y Brikho,Chief Executive of the Company, that on 24 April 2008, he acquired 50,000ordinary shares of 50p each in the Company at 742p per share. Following this transaction, Mr Brikho now holds 182,647 ordinary shares in thecompany (representing 0.056% of the voting rights in the Company).
