NOTIFICATION OF A TRANSACTION BY A PERSON DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Notification made in accordance with Disclosure Rule 3.1.4R(1)(a) of the Disclosure Rules and Transparency Rules.
The Company was notified on 30 May 2013 that on 30 May 2013 Mr K J Wheaton, a person discharging managerial responsibilities, purchased 311 British American Tobacco p.l.c. ordinary shares of 25p each at a price of 3,650.00 pence per share.
Following the above transaction, the total beneficial and family interests of Mr K J Wheaton in British American Tobacco p.l.c. 25p ordinary shares was 19,203 (including 12,797 Deferred Shares).
