Notification of Transaction by Person Discharging Managerial Responsibilities

In accordance with DTR 3.1.4R, we hereby advise that we have been notified that Colin Richard Day acquired 222 shares in AMEC plc at a price of 1037 pence per share. Mr Day elected to receive these shares in lieu of the interim dividend paid to shareholders on 2 January 2013.

Following the above transaction, Mr Day now holds 20,222 shares in AMEC plc, which represents 0.01% of the voting rights of the Company.
