UBM plc PURCHASE OF SHARES BY ESOP TRUST The company was notified on 6 August 2014 of dealings in its ordinary shares of10 pence each by the Trustee of the UBM Employee Share Ownership Trust, whichis a discretionary Trust for the benefit of employees (including executivedirectors) of the UBM group. Date of transaction: 6 August 2014 Nature of transaction: Purchase of 65,000 shares at an average price of595.8049p per share, with a minimum price of 593.75p and a maximum price of598.5p. The shares will be used to satisfy awards under UBM's share option andincentive plans. Following the above transaction, the Trustee of the ESOP Trust hold a total of132,244 shares, representing 0.05% of the company's issued share capital. Anne Siddell
