Notification under paragraphs 3.1.2R to 3.1.4R of the Disclosure and Transparency Rules
Hill & Smith Holdings PLC ("Hill & Smith" or the "Company") announces that it has today received notification that Mr D L Grove, being a person discharging managerial responsibilities of Hill & Smith, purchased earlier today 25,000 ordinary shares in the Company at 222 pence per share. This purchase was effected on the London Stock Exchange.
The Company has also been notified today that Mr D W Muir, also being a person discharging managerial responsibilities of Hill & Smith, purchased 3,120 ordinary shares in the Company on 7 October 2008 at a price of 250 pence per share. This purchase was effected on the London Stock Exchange.
Following these purchases, Mr Grove is beneficially interested in 719,969 ordinary shares and has options over 12,360 ordinary shares. Mr Muir is now beneficially interested in 12,834 ordinary shares in the Company and has options over 258,114 ordinary shares.
