Legal & General Group PLC02 February 2006 Legal & General Group Plc ("Group") Legal & General Group Employee Share Plan ("the Plan") In common with all eligible employees, each of the executive directors of Legal& General Group Plc ("Group") have been invited to apply for partnership sharesunder the Plan on a monthly basis. On 1 February 2006 each executive directorchose to contribute to purchase the following partnership shares: Partnership Shares C. R. R. Avery 99T. J. Breedon 99A. W. Palmer 99R. A. Phipps 99J. B. Pollock 99 The Group matched these shares, on a one-to-one basis, up to £20 per month.Accordingly, each executive director received 16 matching shares. The shareswere purchased at a price of 125.75p per share.
