Notification of Transactions of Directors and Directors' Shareholdings
The Evolution Group PLC (the "Company") announces that following the awards of 3,091,565 ordinary shares in the capital of the Company (the "Shares") made under the Evolution Group Plc 2000 Executive Share Option Scheme ("the 2000 Scheme") in May 2001 and the awards of 1,500,000 ordinary shares in the capital of the Company (the "Shares") made under the Evolution Group Plc 2001 Executive Share Option Scheme ("the 2001 Scheme") in June 2001 to the Chief Executive Officer of the Company, Alex Snow, all vesting conditions have been met in full.
The Company has today been notified that Mr Snow exercised options over all 4,591,565 Shares on 30 October 2009 and immediately sold 3,191,565 Shares at a sale price of 163 pence per Share principally to cover the exercise and taxation costs arising on exercise of the options.
Mr Snow has increased his shareholding to 5,601,419 ordinary shares in the capital of the Company by virtue of retaining 1,400,000 of the Shares. As a result of the above transactions Mr Snow now holds 2.418% (previously 1.851%) of the Company's issued share capital.
This notification relates to transactions notified in accordance with DTR 3.1.4R (1) (a).
