De La Rue PLC14 September 2006 DE LA RUE PLC - NOTIFICATION OF DIRECTORS' INTERESTS COMPANIES ACT 1985 De La Rue Qualifying Employee Share Ownership The Company was notified on 13 September 2006, that the De La Rue QualifyingEmployee Share Ownership (the "QUEST") on 13 September 2006 transferred 4,308shares of 277/9p each in the Company pursuant to the exercise of options underthe De La Rue Sharesave Scheme. The number of De La Rue plc shares now held bythe QUEST is 195,945, 0.1203% of the Company's issued share capital.
