Hornby PLC17 August 2005 17 August 2005 Hornby Plc Notification of Transactions of Directors/Persons Discharging ManagerialResponsibility and Connected Persons This notification is made in accordance with DR 3.1.4R(1)(a) of the UKDisclosure Rules. On 17 August 2005, Frits Passet, a director of a subsidiary of Hornby Plc (the "Company") exercised options over 37,500 ordinary shares of 1p each ("OrdinaryShare"), representing 0.10% of the issued ordinary share capital, at a price of32.7p per share. On the same day Mr Passet sold 27,500 Ordinary Shares,representing 0.07% of the issued ordinary share capital, in the open market at aprice of 220p per share in order to cover the exercise costs and taxes incurred.
