SDL PLC ("the Company") was advised that Mark Lancaster, Chairman and Chief Executive, purchased 170,532 ordinary shares at a price of 439.8235p per share on 27 November 2012.

As a result of this transaction Mark Lancaster's beneficial holdings in the Company increase from 498,414 representing 0.62% of the Company's issued share capital to 668,946, 0.83%.
