Cable and Wireless plc ("the Company") advises that on 11th March 2010, Tim Pennington, Director, irrevocably renounced the Performance Share Award granted to him on 2nd June 2009 and in exchange has been granted 500 units under the Cable & Wireless Long Term Incentive Plan.

In addition, Nick Cooper, PDMR, irrevocably renounced the remaining Restricted Shares granted to him on 11th November 2008 and in exchange has been granted 250 units under the Cable & Wireless Long Term Incentive Plan.
