Net settlement of Deferred Delivery Awards by PDMR Mr R J A Sparks, Managing Director of Old Mutual South Africa, exercised andsold the following deferred delivery shares under the Old Mutual Share Optionand Deferred Delivery Plan on 6 March 2006: No. of shares exercised and Original grant Award Sale pricesold date price 200,000 26 February 2003 R11.15 R20.70 The total number of deferred delivery shares in the Company held by Mr Sparks isnow 1,163,238, of which 593,611 have vested.2. Release of Restricted Share Awards to PDMR Mr S F Powers, Chief Executive of Old Mutual Asset Managers (US), received arelease of 123,233 shares under the Old Mutual Restricted Share Plan (RSP) on 6March 2006 as follows: No. of shares No. of shares sold to cover US Sale No. of sharesreleased withholding obligations price retained 123,233 39,420 £1.86 83,813 The total number of shares in the Company contingently held under the RSP by MrPowers is now 711,689. The total number of shares in the Company in which Mr Powers, (together with hisconnected persons, for the purposes of section 346 of the UK Companies Act 1985)is beneficially interested is now 290,499 (excluding non-vested RSP awards andunexercised shares held under option). 3. Exercise of option by PDMR On 13 March 2006, Mr M C Murray, Company Secretary of Old Mutual plc, exercisedan option over 34,782 shares under the Old Mutual Share Option and DeferredDelivery Plan (originally granted on 26 February 2003 with an exercise price of£0.8625 per share). Mr Murray personally funded the exercise of the optionretaining all of the shares. The total number of shares in the Company in whichMr Murray, (together with his connected persons, for the purposes of section 346of the UK Companies Act 1985) is beneficially interested is now 96,859(excluding non-vested RSP awards and unexercised shares held under option). Thetotal numbers of shares in the Company held under option under the Old MutualShare Option and Deferred Delivery Plan and the Old Mutual UK Sharesave Plan byMr Murray is 285,272, of which 188,407 have vested. 4. Lapse of options under the Nedcor Group (1994) Employee Incentive Scheme An option over 10,000 Nedbank Group Limited shares granted to Mr T A Boardman,Chief Executive of Nedbank Group Limited, on 1 April 2003 and the associatedoption over 4,167 shares (granted following a rights issue on 10 May 2004) willlapse on 1 April 2006. These options were linked to the achievement by NedbankGroup of predetermined financial targets, which have not been met. After the lapse of options detailed above, the total number of Nedbank GroupLimited shares held by Mr Boardman under option under the Nedcor Group (1994)Employee Incentive Scheme and the Nedbank Group (2005) Share Option, MatchedShare and Restricted Share Scheme is 662,951, of which 89,392 have vested. 5.
