De La Rue PLC25 January 2007 DE LA RUE PLC - NOTIFICATION OF DIRECTORS' INTERESTS De La Rue plc (the "Company") announces that it received notification on 24January 2007 of the following transaction by Bachmann Trust Company Limited astrustee of the De La Rue Employee Share Ownership Trust (the "Trust") inordinary Shares of 277/9 pence each ("Ordinary Shares"). The transactions were made on behalf of beneficiaries of theCompany's executive share options scheme (not any director or other persondischarging managerial responsibilities). Following the above transaction the following executive directors, Mr L M Quinn,Chief Executive and Mr S A King, Group Finance Director, have an interest in thebalance held by the Trust of 1,847,332 Ordinary Shares (1.15% of the Company'sissued share capital) as potential beneficiaries of the Trust. De La Rue Qualifying Employee Share Ownership The Company was also notified on 25 January 2007, that the De La Rue QualifyingEmployee Share Ownership (the "QUEST") on 25 January 2007 transferred 2,709shares of 277/9p each in the Company pursuant to the exercise of options underthe De La Rue Sharesave Scheme. The number of De La Rue plc shares now held bythe QUEST is 176,788 (0.11% of the Company's issued share capital).
