Standard Life plc ('the Company') was advised yesterday by Capita Registrars Limited that, on 27 July 2009, the under mentioned executive directors and other persons discharging managerial responsibilities acquired the following interests in ordinary shares as a result of participation in The Standard Life Share Plan:
