7 January 2010 Garner plc ("Garner" or the "Company") Director's shareholding
On 26 November 2010, an associate of Richard Robinson, a director of Garner, sold 75,000 Garner shares at 1.35p per share and 10,229 Garner shares at 1.3p per share, without reference to Mr Robinson. These shares were held by Mr Robinson on behalf of the partners in the accountancy firm of which he was senior partner and were transferred into Mr Robinson's name when the firm converted into an LLP. Accordingly, these shares formed part of Mr Robinson's non-beneficial interest.
Prior to the sale, Mr Robinson was interested in a total of 5,053,019 shares, as disclosed in the Company's Report and Accounts. 4,768,415 of these were held beneficially and 284,604, non-beneficially. He remains beneficially interested in 4,768,415 shares and is now non-beneficially interested in 199,375 shares.
Accordingly, his total shareholding is now 4,967,790 shares in the Company, equivalent to 6.99 per cent of its issued share capital.
